In the 15th minute, Axel Odman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Axel Odman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bebeto Paraense was a little too slow when Axel Odman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 4-0. 25 minutes into the match, Axel Odman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bebeto Paraense. A well placed Axel Odman short distance shot in the 33rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Bebeto Paraense came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Axel Odman. But to his dismay, Axel Odman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A collision led to Baviera FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Célio Lara hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Gil Donatello sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Bebeto Paraense threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gil Donatello this time. Bebeto Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Odman in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Braga in the 43rd minute of play forced Baviera FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Ivanov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 8-0 to the left of a surprised Bebeto Paraense 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedito Braga was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Baviera FC booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gabriel Kadak came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Kadak couldn't finish the play. After having played for 58 minutes, Benedito Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Baviera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio França didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Axel Odman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Bebeto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baviera FC's zone, Benedito Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Paraense came out of the goal and Benedito Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes of play, Flamengo's Axel Odman made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bebeto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Kadak, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Benedito Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the game, Flamengo's Ivan Ivanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebeto Paraense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. 94 minutes into the match, Baviera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ivanov came free, but Bebeto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Göran Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
