Víktor Furlan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Váldson Montenegro having to make a save. Sem Experiencia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Eliseo Sandalio scored to the left of an out of position Váldson Montenegro, making the score, 1-0. Diogo Nunes charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Nunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diogo Nunes hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Doni Vasconcelos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Váldson Montenegro. Sem Experiencia FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Víktor Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. AD Jequieense's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Sandalio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Váldson Montenegro. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, AD Jequieense's Waldir Velasco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Sandalio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AD Jequieense's Lech Polek got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Leonel Alcântara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danton Christini was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 52 played minutes AD Jequieense got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Peres. Sem Experiencia FC's Váldson Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Velasco in the 62nd minute of play. Waldir Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, AD Jequieense's Víktor Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Váldson Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sem Experiencia FC's zone, Eliseo Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Montenegro came out of the goal and Eliseo Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AD Jequieense's Armando Jacinto was substituted for Eliseo Sandalio. 80 minutes into the match, Armando Jacinto notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sem Experiencia FC's Váldson Montenegro. Váldson Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, AD Jequieense's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Alcântara came free, but Danton Christini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Sem Experiencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Leão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 94 minutes, Armando Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Jequieense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AD Jequieense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
