Váldson Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Quintanadueñas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Váldson Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Dráusio Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Antoni Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, J.J CALDAS's Vicente Chabier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Sem Experiencia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Leão to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, J.J CALDAS's Pedro Luiz Ceresso tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sem Experiencia FC defense, Antoni Karanewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Váldson Montenegro. The Sem Experiencia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Váldson Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Váldson Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Vítor Vasconcelos in the 30th minute. When J.J CALDAS's Vicente Chabier in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Váldson Montenegro guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Vitinho Travassos lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute, one of J.J CALDAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for J.J CALDAS. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Sem Experiencia FC. Dário Quintal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeferson Silva. 3-1. In the 39th minute, Jacq Lieckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 44 minutes in the game, Valdomiro de Lima fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. Váldson Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro de Lima in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráusio Almeida's late challenge caught a J.J CALDAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráusio Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of J.J CALDAS booed when Sem Experiencia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, J.J CALDAS's Jacq Lieckens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 61st minute, Celsinho de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antoni Karanewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacq Lieckens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Váldson Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celsinho de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Antoni Karanewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sem Experiencia FC's Váldson Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Lima in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes J.J CALDAS got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Chabier. Váldson Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Quintanadueñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Antoni Karanewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Quintanadueñas in the 83rd minute of play. Jacq Lieckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Ildefonso Quintanadueñas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ildefonso Quintanadueñas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the J.J CALDAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Quintanadueñas couldn't finish the play. J.J CALDAS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
