Nando das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Nando das Neves made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Hernani Quirino sent off a good shot on target. If Gino Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Valcarcel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nando das Neves having to make a save. When Alexsandro Dante came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Juventus Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Dante couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Valcarcel in the 37th minute of play forced Inglesa's goalkeeper Nando das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gino Borges fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inglesa's protests and gave Gino Borges a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Inglesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Borges to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Valcarcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando das Neves having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Jonas Valcarcel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nando das Neves. Jonas Valcarcel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gino Borges was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Valcarcel in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Valcarcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Inglesa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauke Panayiotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes, Juventus Football Club's Hernani Quirino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nando das Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus Football Club reached it. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Valcarcel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nando das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Jonas Valcarcel scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nando das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Valcarcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando das Neves having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Valcarcel in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando das Neves saved Inglesa from getting behind. When Eduardo Viana came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Juventus Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Viana couldn't finish the play. After 75 minutes of play, Juventus Football Club's Jonas Valcarcel made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nando das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Inglesa's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Valcarcel came free, but Nando das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Tostão Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nando das Neves. Inglesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Alexsandro Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Viana in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Inglesa's zone, Jonas Valcarcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando das Neves came out of the goal and Jonas Valcarcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Tostão Saldanha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
