César Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Luiz Pitta went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Amana's goal looked a bit too open when Tiaguinho Soeiro came free, but César Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hamdullah Olgunsoy was slow to take the kick. During this time S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's players had a chance to rest. César Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Soeiro in the 34th minute of the match. Robinho Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Hamdullah Olgunsoy struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. César Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E.R Mergulhão - RS. When Tiaguinho Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's protests and gave Tiaguinho Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Tiaguinho Soeiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's Tiaguinho Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's zone, Vinícius Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manfred Låsberg came out of the goal and Vinícius Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Moisés Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Tiaguinho Soeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of César Varela. Tiaguinho Soeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's Faustão Pernambucano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Donato Tinoco, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Gilvan Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Hamdullah Olgunsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdullah Olgunsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.E.R Mergulhão - RS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
