After 2 played minutes Waldir Velasco rounded Cristais AD's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Víktor Furlan struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Tales Urbano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Jequieense. Danton Christini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glauco Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Glauco Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cristais AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glauco Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the AD Jequieense defense, Glauco Bertassi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danton Christini. The AD Jequieense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danton Christini should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Sandalio in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tales Urbano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eliseo Sandalio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tales Urbano came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Sandalio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 31st minute. Eliseo Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Urbano having to interfere. Gerson Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danton Christini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Waldir Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waldir Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AD Jequieense getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Waldir Velasco hit a great ball. Danton Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Bertassi in the 43rd minute of play. Eliseo Sandalio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Tales Urbano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Sandalio made a kick off. If Waldir Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the game, AD Jequieense's Waldir Velasco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Urbano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Víktor Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tales Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víktor Furlan in the 62nd minute of play forced Cristais AD's goalkeeper Tales Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Víktor Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tales Urbano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Víktor Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 64th play minutes Eliseo Sandalio shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Tales Urbano and just under the crossbar into goal. Tales Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Sandalio in the 69th minute of play. If Waldir Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Barros's late challenge caught a AD Jequieense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Barros helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cristais AD's zone, Armando Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Urbano came out of the goal and Armando Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cristais AD's Gerson Pereira got a free kick in the 78th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Cristais AD's goal looked a bit too open when Víktor Furlan came free, but Tales Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, AD Jequieense's Conrado Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tales Urbano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Armando Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
