Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Paulo Loureiro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando das Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8thth minute of the game José Paulo Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inglesa's Nando das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If José Paulo Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Gino Borges recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Váldson Montenegro. Gino Borges showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 16th minute Leonel Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Pereira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, one of Inglesa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inglesa. After 23 played minutes Inglesa got a freekick which was hit by Gino Borges. In the 25th minute, José Paulo Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nando das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Sem Experiencia FC's José Paulo Loureiro in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If José Paulo Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Inglesa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sem Experiencia FC were winning 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonel Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. Nando das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nando das Neves came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 54th minute. When Glauke Panayiotopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Inglesa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauke Panayiotopoulos couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the game, Júlio Botelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nando das Neves. With a little luck, Inglesa's Nando das Neves got control of the ball when José Paulo Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Inglesa's Nando das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Alcântara in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Eliseu Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nando das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Alcântara in the 74th minute of the match. José Paulo Loureiro in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nando das Neves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Inglesa's zone, Júlio Botelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando das Neves came out of the goal and Júlio Botelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nando das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleiton Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleiton Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Inglesa got a freekick which was hit by Cleiton Domingues. In the 89th minute, Leonel Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Paulo Loureiro scored 1-5 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nando das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nando das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
