Jean Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Gilvan Bertassi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilvan Bertassi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Tinoco scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilha dos Frades's Jean Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Mazza in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Vinícius Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean Lopes. Ilha dos Frades's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinícius Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Amana's goalkeeper César Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Loyola. When Robinho Souza fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilvan Bertassi made a kick off. In the 58th minute Vinícius Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinícius Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Lopes having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ilha dos Frades's goalkeeper Jean Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Bertassi. Sidnei Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Amana's Gilvan Bertassi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jean Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When Inácio Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Amana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Mazza couldn't finish the play. Ilha dos Frades's Jean Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Mazza in the 83rd minute of play. Gilvan Bertassi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Lopes having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Mazza got free with Jean Lopes in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Vinícius Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ilha dos Frades's Jean Lopes got control of the ball when Gilvan Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
