After a rather tough play, Mad Max FC's Décio Mota got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dragon Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Jorge Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruno Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Tunç Baybars made a huge save. After 12 minutes, Dedê de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragon Futebol Clube and the Mad Max FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, Dragon Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Sabóia came free, but Jorge Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Oswaldo Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mad Max FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dragon Futebol Clube's Jorge Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Sabóia in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mad Max FC's Cauã Costa got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bruno Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tunç Baybars having to interfere. When Cristóvão Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Mad Max FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Sabóia couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Mad Max FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Dragon Futebol Clube's Dedê de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tunç Baybars narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê de Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tunç Baybars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê de Moraes in the 52nd minute of play. Cristóvão Sabóia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Romero having to make a save. In the 55th minute, Luís Gustavo Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Bruno Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tunç Baybars saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristóvão Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Cristóvão Sabóia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Dragon Futebol Clube's zone, Cristóvão Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Romero came out of the goal and Cristóvão Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Cristóvão Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jorge Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Décio Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Cristóvão Sabóia put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Romero. After having played for 89 minutes, Décio Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mad Max FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristóvão Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tunç Baybars didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Furlan went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Mad Max FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dragon Futebol Clube.
