Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Claudinei da Fonseca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jatauba AD's Wiliam Bezerra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Paulo José Dracena in the 22 minute of the game. In the 27thth minute of the game Umberto Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jatauba AD's Claudinei da Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Rafael Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinei da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Munhoz in the 37th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Luís Fernando Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sustino AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jatauba AD's Claudinei da Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Andrade in the 79th minute of play. Umberto Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Claudinei da Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Jatauba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Paiva to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jatauba AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
