During the 36th minute of the match João Carlos Fonseca completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee ignored Grêmio sp2024's protests and gave Dudu Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Grêmio sp2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Grêmio sp2024 booed when HAMMERFALL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeu Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Grêmio sp2024's Charles Nogueira got a free kick in the 94th minute.
