The Guiomar fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Guiomar's Millrick Gallarde looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the game, Charles Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio sp2024's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guiomar the free kick. After 12 played minutes Grêmio sp2024 got a freekick which was hit by Charles Nogueira. In the 13th match minute, Grêmio sp2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Henrique Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Grêmio sp2024 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Noel Guimarães hit a great ball. The long shot by Josué Madureira in the 17th minute really tested Raphael Barbosa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Juninho Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Millrick Gallarde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Barbosa having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Grêmio sp2024's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raimundo Melo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Noel Guimarães hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Raimundo Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio sp2024's zone, Millrick Gallarde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Barbosa came out of the goal and Millrick Gallarde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millrick Gallarde in the 38th minute of play forced Grêmio sp2024's goalkeeper Raphael Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Raphael Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Sampaio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ritvaldis Stīpa. Ritvaldis Stīpa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Grêmio sp2024 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Millrick Gallarde made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Raimundo Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play Grêmio sp2024's Noel Guimarães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 70th match minute, Grêmio sp2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Raphael Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Melo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Millrick Gallarde in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Barbosa saved Grêmio sp2024 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Millrick Gallarde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guiomar's supporters rose to their feet, but Millrick Gallarde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Juninho Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guiomar were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Grêmio sp2024 to leave the ground with a draw.
