Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) HAMMERFALL F.C.'s Tadeu Sá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Magno Hermes made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tadeu Sá sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HAMMERFALL F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sustino AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, HAMMERFALL F.C.'s Ezequiel Mesquita got a free kick in the 6th minute. Luís Fernando Munhoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltazar Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeu Sá in the 20th minute of play forced Sustino AD's goalkeeper Magno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltazar Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tadeu Sá succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 28th playminute. Hermínio Santos's late challenge caught a HAMMERFALL F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermínio Santos helped the player get up and apologised. Hermínio Santos hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Wágner Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the HAMMERFALL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Palmeira couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Tadeu Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Albuquerque in the 44th minute of play forced Sustino AD's goalkeeper Magno Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Tadeu Sá made a precise shot to the right of Magno Hermes. Sustino AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tadeu Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Hermes having to interfere. Leonel Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Hermes having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Reynaldo Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sustino AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltazar Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Andrade in the 72nd minute of play. Ezequiel Mesquita was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Sustino AD booed when HAMMERFALL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Lima, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Magno Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fernando Munhoz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baltazar Amaral firmly grabbed it by the left post. Magno Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Martins in the 89th minute of play. If Leonel Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sustino AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HAMMERFALL F.C..
