Régis Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the PREMIUM DOkS defense, Thiago Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Leme. The PREMIUM DOkS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Leme should have stopped the shot. Frank Teles struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Régis Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÃO PAULO FUTEBOL CLUBE. In the 17th minute Tales Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Glauco Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Leme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Glauco Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Régis Leme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glauco Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. If Glauco Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to PREMIUM DOkS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfredinho de Salles hit a great ball. Glauco Souto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, PREMIUM DOkS's Hélio Paulista got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélio Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tales Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Régis Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Leão scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Régis Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. But to his dismay, Tales Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Glauco Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Régis Leme made a huge save. The PREMIUM DOkS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SÃO PAULO FUTEBOL CLUBE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
