Bernardinho de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ibiuna FC's Bernardinho de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Melo in the 17th minute of play. Sílvio Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardinho de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Gaizka Larquera notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Futuro Zero F.C's Ademir Proença. Ademir Proença was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Futuro Zero F.C booed when Ibiuna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Futuro Zero F.C's goalkeeper Ademir Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diguinho Prado. Ademir Proença made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Wilton Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Wilton Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademir Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Waldemar Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiuna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ibiuna FC booed when Futuro Zero F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bernardinho de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardinho de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Sá in the 57th minute of the match. The Futuro Zero F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 94 minutes into the game, Ronaldinho Sá lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Bernardinho de Queiroz. Futuro Zero F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
