Régis Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anderson Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Régis Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Anderson Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seropedica and the PREMIUM DOkS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Seropedica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Linhares to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, PREMIUM DOkS's goalkeeper Régis Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Barbosa. PREMIUM DOkS's Régis Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save PREMIUM DOkS from getting a goal against them. Régis Leme made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Cristian Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. Richard Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Leme having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Barbosa made a kick off. Seropedica's Chico Oliveira pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Seropedica made a substitution. Alfredo Galvão replaced Chico Oliveira. After 54 played minutes PREMIUM DOkS got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Paraíba. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Paulista during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hélio Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Richard Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Cristian Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélio Paulista hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Cristian Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
