César Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 7 minutes, Anderson Linhares made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Catesporo AD's César Meirelles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Seropedica's Richard Catarinense got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Catesporo AD booed when Seropedica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seropedica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cássio Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catesporo AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 姜烽鹏 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Chico Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Paraibano came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 姜烽鹏 could save by the left post. Richard Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Meirelles having to interfere. 姜烽鹏 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Tepedino in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to Seropedica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Chico Oliveira hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seropedica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Catesporo AD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
