Angelo Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Hellbom went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, I p a u s s u e n s s e's Mazinho Vianna got a free kick in the 31st minute. Duarte Urbano, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Mazinho Vianna's late challenge caught a Crato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mazinho Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. Mazinho Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivar Hellbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leonel Teixeira. Leonel Teixeira was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Ramiro de Moraes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramiro de Moraes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. If Edmílson Capixaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. When Régis Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored I p a u s s u e n s s e's protests and gave Régis Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. The I p a u s s u e n s s e supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Crato's performance. The match ended with a win for Crato.
