The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Urbano got free with Carlos Fernando Sousa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Fernando Sousa made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Duarte Urbano sent off a good shot on target. After 23 played minutes Herois da Apae FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Penha. 24 minutes into the game, Dé Magalhães recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Fernando Sousa. Dé Magalhães showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 28 minutes, Eduardo Furlan made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Crato's Angelo Rezende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes of play, Herois da Apae FC's Aírton Penha made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Ramiro de Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herois da Apae FC's Carlos Fernando Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Magalhães in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duarte Urbano got free with Carlos Fernando Sousa in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Lopez in the 47th minute of play forced Crato's goalkeeper Angelo Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Lopez to make the kick off. Carlos Fernando Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Magalhães in the 93rd minute of the match. Carlos Fernando Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Custódio hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Crato's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
