The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fred Lago during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Pedro Paulo Carvalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute, Donato Catarinense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho didn't even have to move. In the 37th minute, Jacarau SS's Donato Catarinense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Pedro Paulo Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Mazza in the 43rd minute of the match. Eriberto Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho got control of the ball when Donato Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Jacarau SS booed when Tigrinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Paulo Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
