In the 21st minute of the match Kléber Fontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho skillfully saved the ball. Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Falcão in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Emílio Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Giggantes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Baiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Tigrinho got a freekick which was hit by Edu Gerber. Eriberto Goiano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Danilo Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigrinho. In the 36th minute, Yan Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Carvalho. Tigrinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Deivid Cunha scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Paulo Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute João Carlos Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Goiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Figueiredo having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Yan Falcão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Paulo Carvalho. The goal made the score 1-4. After a rather tough play, Giggantes FC's Kléber Pernambucano got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Tigrinho's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Baiano. Pedro Paulo Carvalho made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Emílio Baiano sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes of play, Giggantes FC's Emílio Baiano made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eriberto Goiano took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Figueiredo. Danilo Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Juarês Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigrinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Rosa in the 84th minute of play forced Tigrinho's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Baiano got free with Pedro Paulo Carvalho in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Paulo Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Cunha in the 87th minute of play. Giggantes FC's Danilo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Goiano in the 88th minute of play. Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Tigrinho from getting a goal against them. The Tigrinho supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Giggantes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Giggantes FC.
