The supporters of Ibipetum EC booed when Giggantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deivid Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Giggantes FC's Yan Falcão got a free kick in the 21st minute. Emílio Baiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Azim Talaz made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Rodrigo Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ibipetum EC's Azim Talaz got control of the ball when Emílio Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Rosa in the 40th minute of play forced Ibipetum EC's goalkeeper Azim Talaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Giggantes FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Baiano. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Emílio Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Danilo Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If João Carlos Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Giggantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Rezende came free, but Danilo Figueiredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Giggantes FC's Deivid Cunha got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Giggantes FC booed when Ibipetum EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that João Carlos Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Azim Talaz was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After 90 minutes of play, Giggantes FC's Deivid Cunha made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azim Talaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Marinho got free with Danilo Figueiredo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo Rezende reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Figueiredo. The goal made the score 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ibipetum EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Giggantes FC.
