Nilmar Mazza hit a great ball. Wanderson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azim Talaz having to interfere. In the 37th minute Wanderson Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azim Talaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Wanderson Araújo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ibipetum EC's Azim Talaz. Azim Talaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The referee ignored Ibipetum EC's protests and gave Nilson Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Ibipetum EC got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Custódio. When Nilmar Mazza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Ibipetum EC's Nilmar Mazza got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Ibipetum EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Dark Team's Valdemar Simão tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Ibipetum EC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Toscano came free, but Azim Talaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Ibipetum EC's Faustão Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Caetano Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Azim Talaz was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Dark Team's Wanderson Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azim Talaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ibipetum EC's Azim Talaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Toscano in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Wanderson Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Azim Talaz. Ibipetum EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. With his leg Azim Talaz managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Dark Team's Wanderson Araújo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
