Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Breckenfeld in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anderson Diniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armando Donatello having to make a save. Valério Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Donatello having to interfere. Anderson Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Breckenfeld in the 27th minute of the match. Anderson Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, João Augusto Mazza made a precise shot to the right of Anderson Diniz. Ana Terra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Jano Lira fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ana Terra's protests and gave Jano Lira a yellow card for diving instead. Jano Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Valério Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Marco de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jano Lira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. The supporters of Jacarau SS booed when Ana Terra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jano Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 50 minutes, the score became 0-2 when João Augusto Mazza sped through Ana Terra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anderson Diniz. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Augusto Mazza was the one to do the kick off. Anderson Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. João Augusto Mazza took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anderson Diniz. Anderson Diniz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 88th minute of the match Ediberto Perez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anderson Diniz skillfully saved the ball. João Augusto Mazza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anderson Diniz came out and tried to block the shot, but João Augusto Mazza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 89th minute. Ulisses Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Armando Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ana Terra getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Fabrício Arantes hit a great ball. Donato Catarinense took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anderson Diniz. Ana Terra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anderson Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Breckenfeld in the 97th minute of play. Donato Catarinense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Anderson Diniz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ana Terra's Fabrício Arantes got a free kick in the 99th minute. The long shot by Raí Mazza in the 100th minute really tested Anderson Diniz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
