Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Dark Team's zone, Emílio Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tande came out of the goal and Emílio Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th play minute Emílio Baiano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Tande. 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Caetano Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Danilo Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Dark Team's Manuel Tande got control of the ball when Emílio Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Tande made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Emílio Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Giggantes FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zé Carlos Almeida in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emílio Baiano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Tande quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Dark Team's Reginaldo Félix got a free kick in the 21st minute. João Carlos Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Manuel Tande made a huge save. Raí Batista hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Manuel Tande came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Giggantes FC's João Carlos Rosa. But to his dismay, João Carlos Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Emílio Baiano struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Manuel Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Giggantes FC. When Mateus Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dark Team's protests and gave Mateus Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. Kléber Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Danilo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Toscano in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Araújo in the 46th minute of play forced Giggantes FC's goalkeeper Danilo Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caetano Toscano made a kick off. Wanderson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Figueiredo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dark Team's Mateus Macedo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Zé Carlos Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Tande showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Emílio Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yan Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A nice corner shot did that Raí Batista got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danilo Figueiredo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 81 played minutes Dark Team got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Toscano. After some careless play in the Dark Team defense, João Carlos Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Tande. The Dark Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Tande should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute Caetano Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giggantes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dark Team for a fine match.
