Tigrinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Carlos Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Eriberto Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Jaraguáriuno's Pedro Paulo Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar de Sena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute, Jaraguáriuno's Zé Carlos Loyola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Paulo Carvalho. Pedro Paulo Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Juarês Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho got control of the ball when Zé Carlos Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaraguáriuno's Edgar de Sena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Paulo Carvalho. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. Pedro Paulo Carvalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar de Sena showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Carlos Loyola could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Pedro Paulo Carvalho however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Tigrinho defense, Zé Carlos Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Paulo Carvalho. The Tigrinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Paulo Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Zé Carlos Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Edgar de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaraguáriuno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigrinho the free kick. Gonçalo Damião hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Jaraguáriuno's Gonçalo Damião got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandrinho Peres during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandrinho Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Yuri Tepedino notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho. Pedro Paulo Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Paulo Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Pedro Paulo Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Tigrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Tepedino came free, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Jaraguáriuno's Gonçalo Damião made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Paulo Carvalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the game, Edgar de Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Pedro Paulo Carvalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute, Orlando Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigrinho's Pedro Paulo Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Loyola in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Tigrinho's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos Loyola came free, but Pedro Paulo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Damião in the 90th minute of play forced Tigrinho's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carlos Eduardo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tigrinho's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Edgar de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Jaraguáriuno's goalkeeper Joel Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Gerber. Joel Linares was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Edu Gerber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edu Gerber really showed his touch with that goal: 8-1. When the referee ended the match the Jaraguáriuno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
