Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Inácio de Medeiros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anísio Rezende came free with the goalkeeper in the 3rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruninho Moura could save by the left post. Donato Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Brillouin F.C.'s Luís Moraes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruninho Moura came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brillouin F.C. reached it. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brillouin F.C.'s goalkeeper Isaltino Catarinense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anísio Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thiago Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Brillouin F.C.'s zone, Alexandre Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Catarinense came out of the goal and Alexandre Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Brillouin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Melo. 33 minutes into the match, Brillouin F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marco Paraibano came free, but Isaltino Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Donato Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorino and the Brillouin F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Donato Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaltino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Soeiro in the 41st minute of play. Bruninho Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Melo in the 42nd minute of the match. Anísio Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luís Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Moura having to interfere. After the first half Gorino were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgílio Soeiro was the one to do the kick off. Isaltino Catarinense came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Gorino's Marco Paraibano. But to his dismay, Marco Paraibano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Natanael Penha hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Isaltino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Paraibano in the 57th minute of play. Anísio Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Moura having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Paraibano during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Paraibano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dadá Tande took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruninho Moura. Gorino's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anísio Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Moura having to interfere. Isaltino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Linhares in the 72nd minute of play. Isaltino Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Linhares in the 73rd minute of the match. Isaltino Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Paraibano in the 78th minute. Bruninho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Rezende in the 80th minute of play. Gorino played a much better game than Brillouin F.C. and deserved their victory. The Brillouin F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
