Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) CA Uruguaiense's Régis Dias started the match with a crisp pass. When Guilherme Soares fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Japira SS's protests and gave Guilherme Soares a yellow card for diving instead. Guilherme Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Manuel Guerra took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tostão Figueiredo. Tostão Figueiredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Japira SS defense, Régis Dias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Figueiredo.
