Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Pedro de Senna kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Società Sportiva Savoia's Giovani Neto got a free kick in the 4th minute. William Moraes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ernani Alves. 10 minutes into the match, Henrique Vargas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Società Sportiva Savoia's William Moraes. William Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Walmyr Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Virgílio Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Società Sportiva Savoia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmorindo the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Società Sportiva Savoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. Elano de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. William Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Walmyr Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmorindo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmyr Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Moraes made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Walmyr Abreu sent off a good shot on target. Ernani Alves hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Walmyr Abreu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. William Moraes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elano de Almeida showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Palmorindo's William Moraes threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elano de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. When Elano de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Palmorindo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano de Almeida couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Olavo Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Società Sportiva Savoia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmorindo the free kick. The supporters of Palmorindo booed when Società Sportiva Savoia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Palmorindo's goalkeeper Evandro Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Baiano. Walmyr Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Società Sportiva Savoia's goal looked a bit too open when Walmyr Abreu came free, but William Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Palmorindo's Evandro Correia got control of the ball when Vinícius Baiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 82 minutes, Elano de Almeida made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Società Sportiva Savoia's William Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinícius Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrique Vargas scored 4-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano de Almeida in the 92nd minute of play forced Società Sportiva Savoia's goalkeeper William Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Palmorindo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
