Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Breno Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Rubinho Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Moraes in the 6th minute of play. Rubinho Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Rezende in the 11th minute. Isaltino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Fonseca in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Luís Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Brillouin F.C.'s Anísio Rezende sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubinho Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's Humberto Mineiro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Brillouin F.C.'s Anísio Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrício Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Falcão having to interfere. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's Rubinho Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio de Medeiros in the 38th minute of play. Esporte Clube Rio Bonito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Inácio de Medeiros scored to the left of an out of position Rubinho Falcão, making the score, 1-0. 47 minutes into the game, Inácio de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brillouin F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esporte Clube Rio Bonito the free kick. Inácio de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Inácio de Medeiros was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 56th match minute, Brillouin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Rubinho Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Rezende in the 58th minute of the match. Breno Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Anísio Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brillouin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rubinho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brillouin F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
