Spectators: 7276 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) When Augusto Severo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmorindo's protests and gave Augusto Severo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Augusto Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Luisão Dionísio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Evandro Correia, passed just outside the right post. Luisão Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisão Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Gerber took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evandro Correia. Evandro Correia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Evandro Correia was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Flávio Veloso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flávio Veloso really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Elano de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Palmorindo's goalkeeper Evandro Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flávio Veloso. In the 42nd minute Sociedade Esportiva Roma were awarded a corner. Cléber Donato went to the cornerflag to take it. Cléber Donato made a great header on Sociedade Esportiva Roma's corner, it was just that Palmorindo's Evandro Correia managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano de Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Walmyr Abreu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Palmorindo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Palmorindo's Evandro Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Fantini in the 53rd minute of play. Evandro Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Che showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano de Almeida in the 58th minute of the match. Luisão Dionísio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Evandro Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vítor Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evandro Correia came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Sociedade Esportiva Roma's Luisão Dionísio. But to his dismay, Luisão Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Amílton Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sociedade Esportiva Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evandro Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Flávio Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Sociedade Esportiva Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Veloso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Ramalho in the 93rd minute of play forced Palmorindo's goalkeeper Evandro Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisão Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Correia having to interfere. There was no doubt that Sociedade Esportiva Roma were the better team. Sociedade Esportiva Roma's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
