Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Davi's Emílio Vergílio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Cesinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Sirinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Passos got free with Kleanthis Variamidis in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Jonathan Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Davi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sirinhaem the free kick. Elano Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Davi booed when Sirinhaem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Passos had several of the Sirinhaem's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Kleanthis Variamidis as he didn't even see the shot coming. 22 minutes into the match, Sirinhaem's goalkeeper Kleanthis Variamidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Teles. The crowd rose to their feet as Davi's Jonathan Carvalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kleanthis Variamidis. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 29th minute Cesinha Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Jonathan Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kleanthis Variamidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jonathan Carvalho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. Cléber Trevisan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Gonçalves in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Vergílio in the 35th minute of play forced Sirinhaem's goalkeeper Kleanthis Variamidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleanthis Variamidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Seco went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Kleanthis Variamidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Vergílio in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Elano Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sirinhaem's Kleanthis Variamidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sirinhaem from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Trigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Davi getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Nildo Jacinto hit a great ball. If Elano Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cléber Trevisan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elano Trigo in the 57th minute. A collision led to Davi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Emílio Vergílio hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Cristian Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesinha Gonçalves had several of the Davi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Cléber Trevisan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cesinha Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Trevisan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Davi's zone, Elano Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléber Trevisan came out of the goal and Elano Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th match minute, Sirinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Davi's Gilberto Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Sirinhaem's Cesinha Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Cléber Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Cesinha Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Leonel Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cléber Trevisan. Davi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Leonel Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Davi's Emílio Vergílio got a free kick in the 94th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
