Jaime Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Arce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Varela in the 8th minute. The supporters of Raiders FC booed when Sirinhaem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Sirinhaem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesinha Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Kleanthis Variamidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Cayo in the 19th minute of the match. Kleanthis Variamidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Cayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Teofilo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sirinhaem getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Elano Trigo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Cruz in the 30th minute of play forced Sirinhaem's goalkeeper Kleanthis Variamidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kleanthis Variamidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Amaral in the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Sirinhaem's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Cayo came free, but Kleanthis Variamidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Gonçalves in the 37th minute of play forced Raiders FC's goalkeeper Dé Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesinha Gonçalves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dé Arce came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesinha Gonçalves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 39th minute. With an all-out effort, Sirinhaem's Dé Arce threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesinha Gonçalves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Cayo was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Marcel Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raiders FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sirinhaem the free kick. Marcel Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Raiders FC got a freekick which was hit by Tony Dionísio. Teofilo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Cayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kleanthis Variamidis made a huge save. Dé Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kleanthis Variamidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Cayo in the 68th minute. Ronaldo Bezerra hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Dário Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Trigo in the 93rd minute of play forced Raiders FC's goalkeeper Dé Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sirinhaem's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
