Spectators: 7252 (Terracing: 5603, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conrado Alcântara kicked off to start the match. When Romo Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Europa's protests and gave Romo Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. Romo Ponce hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Bart Hurel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Salgado in the 8th minute of play. When Conrado Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Europa's protests and gave Conrado Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Europa's Conrado Alcântara got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Conrado Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14th match minute, Europa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romo Ponce to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Conrado Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Europa's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilson de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bart Hurel came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ibirataia's Ian Valladares. But to his dismay, Ian Valladares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Cássio Macedo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cássio Macedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conrado Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson de Azevedo having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Fontes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Conrado Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nilson de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Tróia in the 31st minute of play forced Europa's goalkeeper Bart Hurel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willian da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the match, Ibirataia's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Alcântara came free, but Nilson de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Salgado scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bart Hurel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bart Hurel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Mineiro went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After the first half Ibirataia were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Europa's Bart Hurel got control of the ball when Ian Valladares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ian Valladares took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bart Hurel. Bart Hurel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Bart Hurel made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ian Valladares sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Dudu Tróia took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Bart Hurel to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute, Acácio de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bart Hurel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Romo Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Europa's Romo Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bart Hurel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bart Hurel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício de Alcântara's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bart Hurel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Europa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ibirataia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
