Europa's Bart Hurel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armando Duarte hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Conrado Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Tiago Gabriel Castro made a precise shot to the right of Bart Hurel. Avelinos's Sílvio Luís Neves suffered a sprained foot after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Simão Luz's late challenge caught a Avelinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Luz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Europa's Simão Luz got a free kick in the 73rd minute. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Willian da Cunha hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Breckenfeld in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Hurel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
