A collision led to Raiders FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marcel Cruz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Amaral in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Shox booed when Raiders FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Teofilo Cayo made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fábio Valadares. FC Shox's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 29th minute, Teofilo Cayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raiders FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 32nd minute Johnny Marco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40th play minutes Teofilo Cayo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Luiz Fábio Valadares and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Valadares having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Fabiano Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The goalkeeper, Luiz Fábio Valadares, was totally fooled by Raiders FC's Cipriano Souto, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 65 minutes, Váldson Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Shox and the Raiders FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, FC Shox was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Gerber to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Edgard Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fabiano Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Shox fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabiano Bittencourt couldn't finish the play. The Raiders FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raiders FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
