Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 4895, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camilo Eleder started the match with the kick off. Bahus's Vágner Fonseca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zézinho de Almeida in the 4 minute of the game. Crescencio Cañadas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Camilo Eleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Camilo Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Ademar Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avelinos the free kick. Ademar Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bahus's zone, Giovani da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crescencio Cañadas came out of the goal and Giovani da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crescencio Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Leal in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Hortêncio Brito made a precise shot to the right of Crescencio Cañadas. Bahus's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bahus's Crescencio Cañadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani da Cunha in the 31st minute of play. Crescencio Cañadas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauã Luz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Crescencio Cañadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Luz in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Bahus's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Leal came free, but Crescencio Cañadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giovani da Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cauã Luz scored 0-3 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Crescencio Cañadas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cauã Luz came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Crescencio Cañadas could save by the left post. In the 59th minute, Bahus's Zé Massa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zé Massa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bahus protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Massa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Bahus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Avelinos:s goal. After a rather tough play, Bahus's Madaleno Orbiz got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bahus's Diguinho Botelho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dedê Coutinho in the 93 minute of the game. Avelinos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
