Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dadá Paraense took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Placa's Dadá Paraense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rubinho Pontes. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Rubinho Pontes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Doriva Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doriva Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Doriva Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ariramba's Didi da Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the game, Severino Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubinho Pontes. Severino Mendes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Rubinho Pontes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Arantes in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Mendes in the 21st minute of play forced Ariramba's goalkeeper Rubinho Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Didi da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrinho Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías de Toledo in the 25th minute of play. Rubinho Pontes came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Placa's Murillo Rezende. But to his dismay, Murillo Rezende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rubinho Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Arantes in the 34th minute of play forced Ariramba's goalkeeper Rubinho Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Placa's Jerônimo Pena got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi da Silva in the 36th minute of play forced Placa's goalkeeper Pedrinho Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariramba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Luís Fernando Arantes scored to the left of an out of position Rubinho Pontes, making the score, 4-0. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Paraense in the 43rd minute of play. Rubinho Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Paraense in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Rubinho Pontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Arantes's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Ariramba's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Paraense came free, but Rubinho Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Placa were furious when Jerônimo Pena was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Placa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! After having played for 60 minutes, Luís Fernando Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Placa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fernando Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fernando Arantes in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Pontes saved Ariramba from getting behind. Luís Fernando Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rubinho Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Luís Fernando Arantes made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Ariramba's Matías de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Murillo Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ariramba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Placa a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eusébio Severo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ariramba's Rubinho Pontes. 6-1. Rubinho Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando Arantes in the 82nd minute of play. Murillo Rezende struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Rubinho Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Placa. Jefferson Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When José Carlos Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Placa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Valadares couldn't finish the play. Doriva Quadros was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. Ariramba:s Rubinho Pontes showed great skill when he stopped Eusébio Severo:s penalty. Luís Fernando Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Pontes having to interfere. Placa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
