Toma Benga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Daniel Siggman in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Matías de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Didi da Silva was the one to do the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rubinho Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcinho Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Novo Hamburgo SA's goalkeeper Toma Benga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didi da Silva.
