A collision led to BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Vítor Pombal hit a great ball. In the 9th match minute, Novo Hamburgo SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute BOTAFOGO SAF 2022 were awarded a corner. Silvinho Fontes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's corner Silvinho Fontes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Toma Benga quite easily take care of the ball. Toma Benga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Pincoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eusébio Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Toma Benga made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Gwidon Pincoski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toma Benga, 1-0. Vítor Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Pincoski in the 26th minute of play forced Novo Hamburgo SA's goalkeeper Toma Benga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toma Benga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Carvalho in the 29th minute. Martino Villaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Kozak, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Eusébio Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Toma Benga. Eusébio Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Gwidon Pincoski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toma Benga, 3-0. Eusébio Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Toma Benga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Toma Benga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Pincoski, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Kozak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toma Benga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Pincoski in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Siggman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martino Villaro. That made the score 3-1 in the 63 minute of play. Novo Hamburgo SA's Toma Benga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Pincoski in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcinho Netto in the 69th minute of play forced BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's goalkeeper Martino Villaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Marcinho Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Villaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGO SAF 2022's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Kozak came free, but Martino Villaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Pincoski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Carvalho in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toma Benga saved Novo Hamburgo SA from getting behind. Novo Hamburgo SA's Toma Benga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Carvalho in the 90th minute of play. Gwidon Pincoski took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toma Benga. Toma Benga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1.
