Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Didi da Silva made the kick off which started today's match. William Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dé de Almeida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubinho Pontes came out and tried to block the shot, but Dé de Almeida slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Ariramba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Januaria's Pedro Luiz Queirós tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Olavo Pena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rubinho Pontes, 2-0. When Januaria's Orlando do Nascimento in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Dé de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Januaria's protests and gave Dé de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ariramba booed when Januaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olavo Pena was the one to do the kick off. Rubinho Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Nascimento in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Januaria's zone, Matías de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Peixoto came out of the goal and Matías de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Januaria getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Norberto Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Dé de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Roberto Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Olavo Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Januaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ariramba the free kick. After a rather tough play, Januaria's Olavo Pena got a free kick in the 70th minute. Nilton Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Rubinho Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Pena went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Norberto Nascimento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olavo Pena took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubinho Pontes. Rubinho Pontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Januaria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ariramba for a fine match.
