Gabriel Carioca charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Carioca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ganja FC booed when Nação Rubro-negra F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Cambronero got free with Germano Donatello in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Ganja FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Genílson de Godoi hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ganja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomás Schmidt came free, but Donato Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lobo Murillo in the 67th minute of play. Prudencio Txomin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Yuri Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Freitas having to interfere. Donato Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Tasso in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Ganja FC's Lobo Murillo made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Donatello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Freitas came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Nação Rubro-negra F.C's Rodriguinho Marques. But to his dismay, Rodriguinho Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. In the 82nd minute Lobo Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Donatello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Txomin came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Germano Donatello could save by the left post. Prudencio Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Germano Donatello made a huge save. Thomás Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
