In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aviões da Terra FC's goalkeeper Hudson Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Soltas AD's Jorginho Senna made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hudson Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Soltas AD getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Didi Braga hit a great ball. When Cesinha de Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aviões da Terra FC's protests and gave Cesinha de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. Aviões da Terra FC's Hudson Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Aviões da Terra FC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Soltas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Braga to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Aviões da Terra FC's Murillo Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei de Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Paulo José Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Murillo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Murillo Simão came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Aviões da Terra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Simão couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Soltas AD's zone, Renatinho de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei de Souza came out of the goal and Renatinho de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Renatinho de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Luz to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Murillo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Aviões da Terra FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cesinha de Amorim hit a great ball. Jorginho Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hudson Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jorginho Senna, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Hudson Trevisan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Aviões da Terra FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Benê Torres hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Aviões da Terra FC defense, Dadá Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson Trevisan. The Aviões da Terra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson Trevisan should have stopped the shot. Renatinho de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Didi Braga's late challenge caught a Aviões da Terra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Didi Braga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Soltas AD's Didi Braga got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aviões da Terra FC's André Berger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Claudinei de Souza but with some difficulty. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Claudinei de Souza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aviões da Terra FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
