After 40 minutes of play Aviões da Terra FC's Cesinha de Amorim was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 41 played minutes Aviões da Terra FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha de Amorim. Carlos Fernando Motta struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hudson Trevisan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibuaco. Ibuaco's Falcão de Toledo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hudson Trevisan but with some difficulty.
