Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dadá Luz started the match with the kick off. Pedro Paulo da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Claudinei de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 9 minutes, Albertinho de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertinho de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Pedro Paulo da Costa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Soltas AD's Claudinei de Souza. Claudinei de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genílson Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Luz in the 15th minute of play. Genílson Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pedro Paulo da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Rastro Sertanejo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Paulo da Costa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Fernandes in the 27th minute of play forced Soltas AD's goalkeeper Claudinei de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei de Souza came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s Vladimir Barros. But to his dismay, Vladimir Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Genílson Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dadá Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Albertinho de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s Pedro Paulo da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei de Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lenílson Favoretto during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Soltas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Pedro Paulo da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vladimir Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Barros was the one to do the kick off. If Frederico de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After recieving a nice pass, Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s Frederico de Amaral tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Pedro Paulo da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Claudinei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Barros in the 68th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Soltas AD got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Nunes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Luz in the 74th minute of play forced Rastro Sertanejo F.C.'s goalkeeper Genílson Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soltas AD's Claudinei de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Barros in the 75th minute of play. Jorginho Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Vladimir Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinei de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico de Amaral in the 94th minute of the match.
