La Academia Imortal's Diguinho Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Aparecido in the 9th minute of play. Diguinho Branco came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Butantã MZFC's Adelino de Mendonça. But to his dismay, Adelino de Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Haroldo de Queirós hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 16 played minutes La Academia Imortal got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Neiva. After 19 minutes, Haroldo de Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Butantã MZFC and the La Academia Imortal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Academia Imortal booed when Butantã MZFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Dias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. La Academia Imortal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 22 minutes into the match, Butantã MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Dias came free, but Juarês Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo de Queirós in the 25th minute of play. Diguinho Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Adelino de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Marquinhos Teixeira put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia Imortal's zone, Cláudio Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Branco came out of the goal and Cláudio Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Academia Imortal's Diguinho Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Aparecido in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the La Academia Imortal defense, Arthur Xavier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diguinho Branco. The La Academia Imortal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diguinho Branco should have stopped the shot. Butantã MZFC's Adelino de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adelino de Mendonça took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diguinho Branco. Diguinho Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. La Academia Imortal's Diguinho Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Aparecido in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Arthur Xavier took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Diguinho Branco to make any attempt to save it. When Léo de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Butantã MZFC's protests and gave Léo de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Butantã MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Léo de Sousa. A collision led to La Academia Imortal getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. José Maria Neiva hit a great ball. Diguinho Branco made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Juninho Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Haroldo de Queirós left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Butantã MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 63 minutes into the game, Artur Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Academia Imortal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Butantã MZFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Academia Imortal's Artur Dias got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino de Mendonça got free with Diguinho Branco in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, La Academia Imortal's goalkeeper Diguinho Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino de Mendonça. 68 minutes into the match, Juninho Aparecido dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diguinho Branco, 0-6. Diguinho Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juninho Aparecido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 72 minute of play. Diguinho Branco made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Juninho Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute of the match, Juninho Aparecido got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diguinho Branco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, La Academia Imortal's Diguinho Branco got control of the ball when Adelino de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diguinho Branco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino de Mendonça in the 86th minute. Léo de Sousa made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Academia Imortal's Luís Guilherme de Souza. Diguinho Branco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Haroldo de Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. Diguinho Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Butantã MZFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
