The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 16 minutes, Tomaž Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Confiança FC and the La Academia Imortal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diguinho Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomaž Silva in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Edinho Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Academia Imortal and the Confiança FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, La Academia Imortal's Edinho Pena got a free kick in the 21st minute. The supporters of La Academia Imortal booed when Confiança FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel de Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Confiança FC's Diguinho Branco threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomaž Silva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 31st match minute, La Academia Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Luís Guilherme de Souza fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 42nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Diguinho Branco was a little too slow when Tomaž Silva got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jardel de Queirós made a kick off. After 52 played minutes La Academia Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Teixeira. After having played for 53 minutes, Tomaž Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Confiança FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomaž Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Guilherme de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Gustavo de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Diguinho Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Tomaž Silva made a precise shot to the right of Diguinho Branco. La Academia Imortal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Diguinho Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomaž Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Tomaž Silva struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Diguinho Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Confiança FC. 93 minutes into the game, Jardel de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Diguinho Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Confiança FC had won after a very even match.
