Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jardel de Queirós got the match started through his kick off. Jonathan Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Almir de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Mendonça in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão de Mendonça in the 12th minute of play forced Rude's goalkeeper Almir de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Washington Amaral made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Edu Vale sent off a good shot on target. Washington Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Passos during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Rude's zone, Leonel Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Almir de Senna came out of the goal and Leonel Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Edu Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rude fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Zé Roberto Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Amaral having to interfere. Washington Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Domingues notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Confiança FC's Washington Amaral. Washington Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Confiança FC's Washington Amaral got control of the ball when Jonathan Cerezo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Confiança FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Garcia to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th match minute, Rude was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Aílton Mandrak took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Washington Amaral to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aílton Mandrak to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rude's Aílton Mandrak got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Zé Roberto Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Washington Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 62 minutes into the game, Rude's Edu Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Washington Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Washington Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Roberto Domingues in the 66th minute of play. Zé Roberto Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Washington Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Roberto Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Souza made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gustavo de Senna. 76 minutes into the match, Rude's Edu Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Washington Amaral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Gustavo de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Confiança FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rude the free kick. Edu Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Washington Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. If Edu Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Mendonça in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Nilmar Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuca Vergílio took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Washington Amaral. Washington Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Vergílio in the 92nd minute of play forced Confiança FC's goalkeeper Washington Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nilmar Barral came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rude fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilmar Barral couldn't finish the play. Rude's Samuca Vergílio got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rude's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
