In the 2nd minute, Vladimir Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamim Teles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Marquinhos Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Vladimir Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benjamim Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Seco went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Palmeira in the 12th minute of play forced Ibrahy AD's goalkeeper Benjamim Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo Maia's late challenge caught a Ibrahy AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogo Maia helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Unisul SC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Maia. Vladimir Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernani Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui de Lima having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ernani Costa put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rui de Lima. A collision led to Ibrahy AD getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marquinhos Pinheiro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Seco got free with Benjamim Teles in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamim Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rui de Lima didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ibrahy AD's Luís Fernando Arruda shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Unisul SC's Rui de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Arruda in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Luís Fernando Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unisul SC's goalkeeper Rui de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimir Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Teles having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimir Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Marquinhos Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibrahy AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Pinheiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Costa in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui de Lima saved Unisul SC from getting behind. If Abel Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marquinhos Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Fernando Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rui de Lima made a huge save. Luís Fernando Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rui de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui de Lima was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Ernani Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernani Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Diogo Maia was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Unisul SC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Maia. Ibrahy AD's Leonel Faria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rui de Lima but with some difficulty. In the 77th minute, Baltazar Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Unisul SC's Rui de Lima got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamim Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes Ibrahy AD got a freekick which was hit by Marquinhos Pinheiro. In the 93rd minute, Vladimir Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
