Confiança FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lastdance FC the free kick. A collision led to Confiança FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tomaž Silva hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Guilherme Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Pedrão de Mendonça in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lastdance FC's Yan Salgado. After having played for 12 minutes, Guilherme Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lastdance FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Washington Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Washington Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Vieira in the 17th minute of play. Jardel de Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandro Couto having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Confiança FC's Aloísio Andrade got a free kick in the 26th minute. Confiança FC's Washington Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Queirós in the 28th minute of play. Jardel de Queirós who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Sandro Couto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Confiança FC's Washington Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Queirós in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel de Queirós to make the kick off. Guilherme Vieira in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Washington Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Confiança FC's goalkeeper Washington Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doni Silva. Confiança FC's Tomaž Silva got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Tomaž Silva off the ground. In the 65th minute, Tomaž Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Confiança FC's Washington Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Confiança FC from getting a goal against them. Jardel de Queirós took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandro Couto. Sandro Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Simão Tande fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Confiança FC's protests and gave Simão Tande a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Murillo de Queirós rounded Confiança FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Washington Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Mota, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Confiança FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Murillo de Queirós scored to the left of an out of position Washington Amaral, making the score, 1-2. Lastdance FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
